Following your performance in the screening exercise for the 2019/2020 academic session, I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered provisional admission, into COLLEGE OF LAW IN THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW, 100 level.
Please note that at the point of registration for your programme of study (course), you will be required to present the following documents: Current UTME result slip, WAEC/NECO (O' Level) result, Birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age, and Health certificate from a recognized Medical Centre.
All credentials (original) will be checked during registration. This admission will be cancelled at any point in time it is found that your claims in the application form are false.
You are required to show evidence of the result / credentials you presented on application for admission.
Fees: Please find below "FEE PAYMENT PROCEDURE" for the options you have to make your payment, as well as instructions on how to use your preferred payment option. If you choose to use the bank payment option, you can pay at any branch of the following banks through e-tranzact platform only: Access Bank , First Bank , Zenith Bank , and Keystone BankAccommodation: Accommodation in University hostels is compulsory for every student. No student is allowed to live outside the hostels. Any student who does so will be expelled from the University. For further details, please refer to the Bursary for information on fees.
Food: Food is available in cafeteria on "pay-as-you-eat" basis.
Resumption Date: The University opens for fresh students on Saturday, 28th September, 2019. All newly admitted students are expected to report on that date.
Registration/Orientation Programme: Orientation programme/registration for fresh students will start on Monday, 30th September 2019. Registration ends on 2019-10-30. A late registration fee of N50,000 will be charged after this date. All credentials, O'Level Results, Birth Certificate/Age Declaration, UTME Result Slip (Original) will be checked during registration. This admission will be cancelled at any point in time it is found that any of your claims in the application form is false.
Transport Facility: The University provides a compulsory shuttle bus service to all students at a fee already included in the other charges.
Kindly note that fresh students are not allowed the use of private vehicles.
Conduct: All students are expected to conduct themselves properly and dress decently on campus, as well as obey all rules and regulations as failure to comply will attract appropriate sanctions.

FEE PAYMENT PROCEDURE
The University has provided two payments options.
Option 1: Pay Directly at the Bank with Your Unique Number
With this option, you simply walk into the bank and provide the bank teller (i.e. cashier) with your Unique number.
For new students, your Unique Number is the Admission Number (indicated below your name on your admission letter).
For returning students, your Unique number is your Matriculation Number.
(Note: For your Unique Number, the cashier may ask for your Application Number instead of your Admission Number. Be informed that your Admission Number supersedes your Application Number and thus Admission Number should be used for all fees that you wish to pay using this Unique Number payment option)
Upon verification of your Unique Number, the teller processes your transaction.
Option 2: Pay Directly Online with Your Bank Account
This is an online payment option. Therefore, you do not need to go to the bank to make your payment.
For this option, follow the steps below (note that Unique Number for new students is Admission Number, while for
returning students, it is Matriculation Number):
Follow the instructions thereafter to pay directly online with your Bank Account Number.
Please note that you can pay your school fees in installments, for up to three times.
ARRIVAL PROCEDURE
Student and parents are enjoined to co-operate with officials by following the procedure outline below:
1. Shuttle buses will be available to convey students with their belongings to designated hostels. Please note that parents will not be allowed to accompany their wards to the hostels.
2. All student must come along with originals of their receipts/tellers and letters of admission.
3. Upon arrival in the Crown Estate Gate, please report to the Finance Officer with the documents stated in (2) above, after which a bed space will be assigned to you. You will stay in the space allocated to you throughout the 2019/2020 academic year except the authorities of the University deem it fit to effect a change.
4. Allocation of hostel is strictly on the basis of first-come first- served.
5. All students must reside in the hostels, as the University authority does NOT permit off-campus residence.
OBSERVANCE OF HOSTEL RULES
In addition to hostel regulations contained in the student Handbook, the following rules shall apply in the hostels:
1. Cooking must be done only in the areas designated as kitchenettes.
2. Fighting and bulling of any sort strictly prohibited: violation of this rule will be met with summary expulsion.
3. The University maintains a zero level tolerance policy on cultism and other social vices. Violators will be summarily expelled.
